The Soccer Club identifies talented soccer players among MI’s student population and train them up to represent the institute for the Inter-School ‘A’ Division Soccer
Tournament. The team trains twice weekly during the ‘off-peak’ part of the year and thrice weekly when nearing the “A” Division Tournament.

In preparation for the tournament, the players are also given match exposure with friendly matches with teams from the tertiary institutions as well as clubs. In the process, our boys are groomed from playing street soccer to a more competitive soccer in the school tournaments.

The team also participated in other tournaments not organize by MOE or the CCAB.  One of them is the Punggol CC Open 5-a-side in November 2007 where we emerged Champions. These tournaments provided the ‘fringe’ players to experience high level competitions.
