The MI Badminton Team continued to develop members’ physical fitness and skills through regular training in 2009. In 2010, the team will be competing in the National Schools 'A' Division competition, the Pilot Pen Individual Badminton Championships and the Cheers Age Group (Singles/Doubles) Badminton Championships to increase exposure for its members. In preparation for these tournaments, the team will play friendly games with institutes of higher learning such as Singapore and Ngee Ann Polytechnics.

The team also wishes to focus on the holistic development of its players by partnering Princess Elizabeth Primary School to mentor their badminton players. This programme aims to enhance its players’ leadership and mentoring skills, meanwhile sharing their knowledge and skills with the community.

The team hopes to recruit more talented players in next year's admission exercise to strengthen the team and will strive to achieve greater heights in the coming year.
